Chief Medical Officer

Johannes Tauscher is a Clinical Psychiatrist and Neurologist with over 20 years of experience in industry and academia. Johannes recently served as Vice President in various senior leadership roles at Takeda, including Head of CNS Early Development and Head of Translational Biomarkers/Imaging. Prior to that, Johannes served as Senior Clinical Research Physician at Eli Lilly and Company, responsible for early clinical development of novel CNS treatments; as Head of the Translational Imaging Group, he implemented Lilly’s Imaging Biomarker Strategy through a world-wide network of research partners. Johannes holds an M.D. degree from University Vienna, Austria and underwent specialty training in Psychiatry and Neurology at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria and the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto, Ontario. Additionally, he trained in Molecular Neuroimaging at the Vivian Rakoff PET Centre, University of Toronto.
